Part of the Coral Chair range The Coral derives it’s name from it’s shape which can be likened to that of a coral reef. Coral is a transparent plastic chair made from an engineered nylon with fibre glass reinforcement. The durability of this nylon means it is suitable for long-term use, both indoors and outdoors, it’s materials being also flame-retardent and uv-resistant.
In contrast to other existing plastic chairs, the Coral’s smooth and open structure does not allow water or dirt to adhere to it, the result that being that one is guranteed a clean and dry surface on which to sit! With this conception, The Coral represented a technical landmark, formend as it is from a single naturally-flowing piece with no superfluous material. The results being a strong, durabe and stable chair. Attractive and bearing an uncanny likeness to the real thing, the Coral is hardwearing and sturdy but still comfortable.
The ergonomically-designed seat and backrest of the Coral ensure a high level of comfort, with the limbar support making an even the longest seated-spell a pleasure one. The Coral is suited to many different environments from one’s own dining room, to that of the company canteen at work. Frome one’s apartment balcony to large public spaces. From a Dentist’s waiting room to that of a fashionable restaurant. Not forgetting that the Coral is equally at home in one’s garden or outside on the terrace!
A joy to behold, both for the architect and the user, it’s low maintenance also makes the Coral a favourite choice for the building surveyor. The Coral can be stacked up to 20 at a time. Produced in the Nethelands from fibre-glassreinforced nyon, the Coral is 100% recyclable, conforming to the requirements of EN-NEN1728/581-1.
